A couple days ago we started the individual weekly coverage of Mob Psycho 100, which means that there’s not much of a need to talk about it here. But I will anyway. You can’t offer me such a succulent treat and expect me to stay away from it. There were other interesting premieres I want to bring up, but it’s obvious what I’m dying to jump into.
Mob Psycho 100 has been without a doubt the most anticipated TV anime of the year among Japanese animation fans, expectations perhaps only comparable to those for Kiyotaka Oshiyama’s Flip Flappers. Before diving into episode 1, I think it’s necessary to explain where those high hopes come from, impressive promotional material aside. To summarize it, it’s due to the immense talent of its two main players – director Yuzuru Tachikawa and character designer Yoshimichi Kameda. Let’s start by talking about them.
